Acerca del libro
Dave’s journey to Belfast Maine, USA in August and September, 2013 assisting Stacy Lyn with her most recent published book Living Her African Dream was a huge success.
Stacy wanted to guide Dave in appreciation of numerous guiding in his country of South Africa in addition to Namibia and Botswana. Three weeks was filled with Maine vineyards and USA’s second largest wine producing area, New York Finger Lakes. Dave and Stacy tasted Riesling, Icewines, and many hybrid and Vitis vinifera wines from the region’s most critically acclaimed.
In between book publishing and speaking with wine makers Stacy shared special pieces of Maine’s best to ensure Dave experienced firsthand which included schooners, quaint coastal harbors, local seafood and beautiful landscapes of Acadia National Park and rocky coastlines.
Venturing outside Maine to Gloucester, Massachusetts was a pure treat and a life long dream of Dave's. Witnessing first hand Gloucester’s longstanding seafaring traditions, unexpected new friends were made between boat captains half way around the world, emotional afternoon at Fisherman’s Memorial as Dave pays his respect to the men’s lives lost at sea, and photography sessions to be remembered for a life time.
