At the start of 2013 I was given the unique opportunity to spend two weeks at the Tibetan monastic household Gosok Ladang, which is part of the Sera Me monastery in south - India. I was permitted to take photos virtually without any restrictions. The monks were told to live their daily routine, disregarding the omnipresent photographer.
The result is a remarkable report on daily life in a Tibetan buddhist monastic household: the religious activities, the philosophical debates, the prayer services, but also the housekeeping chores, the meals and sport and play.
This book offers a highly intimate insight into a culture under pressure.
