Acerca del libro
Fifty years ago this August 28th, as a just-turned-17-year-old photo intern for a weekly newspaper in Connecticut, I attended the historic March on Washington for Jobs and Justice, best known as the event at which the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., delivered his "dream" speech. On August 28, 2013, I attended and photographed the 50th anniversary March. In these pages you will find 58 photographs of the 2013 march, as well as an essay, first published on-line in The Atlantic, about my first march and its meaning.
