I was never a "little" dog person....I grew up with big dogs my entire life. But about 2 years ago I agreed to "foster" a little black 7lb Chihuahua/terrier mix from the Harbor Shelter (yes the black dog on the cover). I thought, no problem, I'm not a little dog person I can easily foster this dog for a month or two until he finds a furever home......cut to 2 weeks later and this little 7lber has wiggled his way into my heart! He became my first foster failure, I named him Jack Sparrow, and my love for "littles" began!



I later found out because I FOSTERED I saved his life! He was set to be euthanized. FOSTERING saves LIVES!!!
