In 2002, my mother bought me a camera.



It was a college graduation gift for me, and I could not think of anything else I wanted or needed. The camera was nothing fancy; just a plain and simple 35-millimeter Kodak to use for everyday snapshots.



It gathered dust for three years.



In 2005, I departed for what would become one of many road trips across the United States and Canada. I blew off the dust and loaded up on rolls of film. The visions in this book are the end results of those photos.



One year later, I put the 35-mm back on the shelf and upgraded to a very basic Kodak Easy Share digital camera. Again, nothing fancy. However, it serves its purpose: capturing the beauty that exists on this wonderful continent.



This book chronicles my journeys across North America. These photos were taken during various seasons from 2005 to 2008.
