I love exploring and finding photos that strike my curiosity and humor. When taking pictures, my ability to see shifts and expands. I perceive things extracted from their contexts, and thus fresh and new. Unfamiliar environments open me to this state. In the natural world, I can get lost in the character of rocks and trees. Around people, making pictures becomes the means of engaging with communities and their worlds.
