Nicole Bohan has just finished fifth grade and lives with her parents and her two sisters, Stephanie and Kimberly, in Upton, Massachusetts. When she needs fresh writing ideas, she takes out her two pet guinea pigs, Mimi and Rosie, who always help her get that click in her head. If she still has writer’s block, she will re-read her stories again and again to get those creative juices flowing. In her words: “For the future, I would really like to continue writing books and I’ll always stick with this genre—fantasy and mermaid-fairy stories. I’ll continue writing other books, but I may come back to this one and do a second book. Probably not soon, but it would be nice [after writing some other books] to take a break and go back to this series. I love it!” Nicole’s hobbies include knitting, reading, cheerleading, biking, baking (especially cupcakes!) and writing, of course. Nicole hopes that you’ll appreciate writing as much as she does and that you’ll follow your dreams, just like her.
