Acerca del libro
This classic trek in the Everest region of Nepal offers the most dazzling mountain scenery in the world. Trekking gives insight and a closer look at the Buddhist and Lama culture of the Sherpas. Those who love the mountains and who have an interest to learn more about the art and culture of the high Himalayas will enjoy the inner peace found only in the region and hopefully in the pictures to follow.
Our trek begins in Kathmandu with a visit to the holy Pashupatinath, home of the Hindu god Shiva, and the tranquil serenity of Buddhist Stupas, Bouddhanath and Swayambhunath. Flying into the spectacular airstrip at Lukla and after a Tibetan lunch, we then commenced our trek. Included in this book are memorable views of the peaks of Everest, Lhotse and Ama Dablam.
