Acerca del libro
Erschüttert is a series of personal work about change and loss. It’s photographed on former Soviet bases near Berlin, abandoned since the German reuniting.
Once these places were a symbol of power. Now they’re being reclaimed by nature -or even repurposed as Naturschutzgebiet (nature reserve).

Theo Bos Fotografie
Den Haag, Netherlands
Dutch photographer Theo Bos (Pijnacker, Holland 1959) is known for his unique personal style, characterised by the way he combines different types of photographs to depict his subjects. Documentary based (e.g. Recreation in The Netherlands, 1991), his work has developed in a increasingly personal and experimental direction (e.g. the installation The House of my Parents, 1993 or his digital project The Perfect Picture, 1998) to his current subjective and expressive photography. His present works reveals an open eye for beauty, for absurdity and, most of all, for hidden expression in ordinary subjects. Although his photographs are highly realistic -in a way only photography can be- his work also exhibits a definite painterly quality.
