Acerca del libro
This is the reinterpretation of funereal statues by using a new and complex subject, the human body, which is able to give ever changing emotion every time you look at it. The use of a real (alive) model and silk fabrics builds an empathic tie between the photograph and the viewer. Light reflected by that body and fabric seems to pervade the air all around. This way her skin becomes granite between the hands of the sculptor, and the silk becomes smooth marble. And it’s the light, only light gives consistency to these shapes
