A/Z is a collection of 26 portraits of musicians. Some have influenced me musically, some have great faces, some have a name beginning with Z or Q (and thus won the spot by default). A motley crew indeed. Oh, $#^@##... I should've painted Tommy Lee!

I've been a songwriter since 1981 - and a fairly good songwriter since about 1991. I've been in bands (Lowest of the Low, The Rusty Nails, The Do Good Assassins), and played solo. I've toured all over Canada, the U.S., England, China and Australia. I'm also a painter (since 2001). The dog breeder thing is actually not true.
