Acerca del libro
In November 2007, I spent 29 days in Reykjavik, Iceland. Each day I meticulously documented my daily expenses while creating a daily photo log of the eerie and unique Icelandic winter, selecting one photograph from each day in order to capture the personality of this strikingly distinct place. As the expenses add up, the cost of creating each photo is tallied. This record of the minutia from daily life, when displayed alongside scenes of the starkly beautiful yet unfamiliar landscape reveals a deeply intimate yet still often painfully monotonous portrait of Reykjavik and my time there.
