The house we grow up in always has special significance, even after moving away many years ago. I left this house on March 30th, 1962 at the tender age of 19, and emigrated to Montreal, Canada. I've been back two or three times since, but on this journey in April 2006,I decided to walk from the station at Rickmansworth to Endways, and then walk back to Rickmansworth through the countryside along some public footpaths.
