Acerca del libro
When I was in Venice I noticed many wonderful mask makers, but the photos and paintings were about masquerades and Carnival, and I kept wondering, "What are the stories? What happens behind all those amazing windows and doors in Europe? How do we connect to history and mystery?
I taught Visual Literacy in the Institute for Human Communication and helped people understand how images can add meaning to research, encourage imagination and promote connection and conversations. To me, these images are complex stories. Each one inspired by a quote or line from a writer, yet informed by my own questions and imagination. I love to hear stories people create based on my artworks.
