Acerca del libro
This book is the photographic memory of a magical visit to Bhutan, a real life Shangri-La, a country of dramatic landscapes, of numerous monasteries, of vast fortresses or dzongs and of warm, friendly inhabitants with strong religious beliefs.
Some images are simply a record of a place or an event, but in most the author has selected those which he felt conveyed the mood of Bhutan, the serenity of the countryside, the tranquillity of monastic life, the excitement of the Buddhist festivals and the emotions of the people.
