Carol D. Koutnik lives and works in Rockport, a thriving art community in the Texas Coastal Bend. She paints, supports the arts by extensive involvement in both Rockport Center for the Arts and Wind Way Gallery, and travels often to keep her visual sense fresh. Her first published work Al Baha Sketchbook: A Journal in Saudi Arabia received critical acclaim for her very personal depiction of the Saudi people and their culture.
