Growing up in Wawa, Ontario, a small town in Northern Ontario located at the north end of Lake Superior, I developed a deep passion for nature. Upon graduating from the University of Waterloo in Science, I started my career as a wildlife biologist. This led to developing an expert system for identifying birds. Much of my photography effort is directed at capturing bird images and video for my online bird guide, eBirdr. However, I also enjoy travel and landscape photography.
