Donna suffered a traumatic brain injury at 42. Miraculously, after a year of physical, occupational and speech therapy, Donna was able to move back into her home and begin rebuilding her life. No longer able, physically or mentally to continue her previous career, she began to study gems and jewelry making. Since that time, she has begun to custom-design beautiful pieces for her clients, listening to their needs and their stories, and incorporating the appropriate healing gems into the designs. This book is her story. She shares her challenges and triumphs and explains some of the healing properties and nature of the stones she uses in her designs.

Donna D. Wolf was born and raised in Southern California. The oldest of 5 adopted children, she majored in Communications and earned her BA at California State University Fullerton. Starting in the Newspaper business, she soon transitioned into healthcare where she spent the last 23 years of her career in senior management. Her promising career was ended suddenly with an acquired brain injury and subsequent loss of all her communication, physical and motor skills. After being bedridden, 3 years of rehabilitation, and starting over with the skills of a near infant, she fought her way against the odds of an illness in which the ninety-five percent of those afflicted die. Through self determination and hard work, Donna studied and learned about the healing properties of gemstones as well as jewelry making. This book highlights some of her jewelry designs and the people she has met along her journey of discovering the SILVER LINING in her own personal tragedy.
