Rick Beck has created a set of playful and just slightly creepy six foot tall glass pull toys. This body of work continues the artist's investigation of transformation, a process that is full of potential discovery. Spoons become figures and figures become toys.

Beck, who was educated at Southern Illinois University and lives in North Carolina, is having his 3rd one-person show in Chicago.
