Acerca del libro
The photos in this book show my efforts in freelance railroad modeling, all in 1:87 scale. With a few exceptions, all the locomotive and caboose models shown were built between the late-1980s thru the 1990s. This photo book is designed to show my models, my close-up photography, different lighting angles, and different backdrops. One thing for sure, my quality of workmanship could withstand the critical close-up camera lens. The freelance Colorado & Western Railroad Co. began in the late-1960s. I still do model railroading, but now I model in (1:48) On30 scale as HO scale is too small for me to work with now. On30 is narrow gauge and I am now modeling the Southern Colorado Land Navigation & Transfer Co. (SCLN&TC), the predecessor of the Colorado & Western Railroad Co.

My husband, Dave drove truck in the U.S. for 40 years with over 3-million safe miles. He started taking photos of trucks as a young boy in the 1950s, inspired by his mother who took photos of his dad's trucks beginning in the late 1940s. He passed away in 2019. His wife survives.
