Acerca del libro
This is a photographic record of a journey which started in Bangkok and continued through Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia. It covers those parts of the journey which were in Thailand and Laos.
While the two countries are different, for instance one is economically an Asian Tiger with a constitutional monarchy, the other one of the poorest countries in the world and ruled by a dictator, they have much in common. Their histories overlap, they have both been dominated by other regional powers and they share a religion.
This book tries to capture something of their history, religion and culture as seen through two western eyes.
