Acerca del libro
This book features observations and photographs from the Mercy Corps team in Haiti, while they were responding to the devastating earthquake of January 12, 2010.
Each of our contributors is a seasoned traveler. They have witnessed disasters and seen the crushing effects of life-long poverty. They're accustomed to fierce sun and mosquitoes, barely passable roads, frequent setbacks and constant improvisation. And yet, in Haiti, even our veteran team was shocked at the destruction they saw. They are thankful they could be there to listen to the stories of the brave human beings who are struggling to survive and rebuild - to bring them back to share with you.
