Acerca del libro
A photographic journal documenting London photographer Kim Watson's first trip to the Philippines.
Kim was born and bred in London and adopted when he was 3 months old into the Watson Family. After 35 years of not really wanting to uncover his roots he made the uncertain and emotional journey to find his birth mother. In the spring of 2009 he finally met Ida who had stayed in England in the hope that one day the son she once gave up would come looking for her. This incredible reunion eventually led them both back to the place where it all started. To meet a family that he had never known. "The Long Journey Home" is the personal visual diary of the 3 weeks spent in the Philippines.
