The Crafts Department at the University of the Arts is pleased to announce the opening of In the Moment, Over Time, an exhibition of senior thesis work. Twenty-four emerging artists will feature pieces from ceramic, fibers, glass, metal, and wood concentrations in a show that highlights progressive treatment of traditional methods of making.



The Crafts program at UArts is unique in that it explores and embraces the fractured identity of the post-Industrial Craft movement. In doing so, it produces artists whose works are functional and sculptural, practical and formal, traditional and experimental. In the Moment, Over Time is a show that unifies different mediums and perspectives by calling attention to their shared commitments to materiality and process.



The show will be held on Friday, April 30th in the Great Hall of the Hamilton Building at the University of the Arts from five to seven in the evening. Hamilton Hall is located on 320 South Broad Street, by the corner of Broad and Pine.
