The book illustrates our trek to Everest Base Camp in November 2009. It shows this with a wide variety of photographs of the mountains and villages, the people we met and also the wildlife we saw. It includes a chapter on the Mani Rimdu buddhist festival at Tengboche monastery. Travelling through Kathmandu gave me the opportunity to add some city studies as well. Finally, we flew over the Himalayas several times during the trip giving a great opportunity for aerial views of the peaks we trekked amongst. v2
