Acerca del libro
In "Plains of Spain" brazilian photographer Ricardo Hage presents pictures produced while traveling through Spain in the winter of 2010.
His photos, always obtained from inside trains, automobiles, airplanes and buses, have a duality between the technically perfect image and blur, distressed, faded photos.
The light is always a vital component in the work of Ricardo: if abundantly present the image suffers less, the camera's sensitivity increases and decreases distortion. Where, instead, the light fades, a new image, full of mystery and fantastic distortions appears.
We follow the images of the artist as someone looking for missing elements in a puzzle. Sometimes, watching a small area of his pictures, we find scenes of great drama, that are not even imagined if we look at the images without attention.
