Before my father, Angel Ibañez, passed away, he had plans to publish his photography projects and fine art drawings in book form, his body of work spans over 60+ years. As the founder of SVA's bookbinding lab, he spent years teaching students how to turn their art portfolios into professional books. Though he helped countless students achieve their dreams, he never got to publish his own work.

In his memory, I'm fulfilling a promise to share his legacy. Instead of starting with his art, I've written "Condolences: Stories of Angel Ibañez Vol. 1," a collection of accounts about my father's positive impact on those around him.
