I worked with mom (Veola) for several months to recall as many of her life memories as we could. She lives just down the street from me in a retirement center in Kaysville, Utah. I had just been released as a Stake President and had an abundant amount of time to work on family histories.

The compilation of these memories were written through her memory and my view of what transpired. It may not align with how everyone remembers the events but it’s a starting point for others to recall with fondness the incredible life she lived.

This book isn’t a typical history book and does not go in an exact chronological order. It’s simply a series of her memories published in a way to bring back to life the experiences she had with her input and insight.
