Acerca del libro
It has been 22 years! 22 years in a completely different society, country, and continent. I find it easy to adapt to almost any environment without major problems, and although there were some minor struggles, I would say it went smoothly. As I write this, I am approaching my 50th birthday, and my intention is to reflect on the past years, particularly the ones spent living and teaching in Singapore. This is not meant to be an autobiography—I do not believe I have a life that would interest others. I am not famous.
The main reason I decided to make this public is for my students and their parents. It will be beneficial for them to understand my way of thinking and teaching, what I expect, and what I don’t like. It also provides insight into why I do things the way I do. Additionally, I have included some of my teaching methods that have worked for me. Anyone starting their career in violin teaching might find my experiences helpful.

Singapore
I began writing to reflect on my life as a violin teacher in Singapore. What started as a personal reflection has grown into something more meaningful—I feel compelled to share my journey and express deep gratitude. I'm thankful for my late parents, whose unwavering support shaped my path. I'm also grateful for the support of relatives and friends in Singapore. Most of all, I'm grateful to my students and their parents for entrusting me to play a role in enriching their lives.
