This is my first magazine / journal style book. It is a portfolio piece, but like all of my work and projects, it is a piece of art in and of itself. It is a visual representation of my mind and art today. It is also created in a format that is more accessible financially. I have put together this journal in a way that resembles a collage-like structure; it is mixed media in book format. Instead of layering pieces of objects on top of one another onto a canvas, I am layering images into this piece sporadically; mixed media followed by raw photographs and paint. Polaroids followed by more mixed media and more raws, notes, words, screenshots from fine art films, moving pictures and memories at large. my mantra lately has been finding perfection, balance, harmony and wholeness in the chaos. Someday perhaps I will get organized, but maybe there truly is beauty in the breakdown. The following pages are filled with portfolio images interspersed with recent photographs from Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, California, and beyond along with a few older works. Also included is my graduate school application portfolio, which is also a little "random" but is and was the most comprehensive grouping of work that I could synthesize at the time.

In conclusion, this magazine / journal / book is a current and up-to-date montage of my life, art, brain and body, serving as both a portfolio and diary.
