This is a collection of black and white photographs of New Orleans, taken for the most part during the fifteen years that New Orleans has been my home. It is a visual document of those events and scenes that interest me; the music, events, architecture and street culture of this unique city.

I am a native of Detroit, Michigan. I had a career in photography that lasted more than forty years, having worked as a photojournalist, corporate/industrial, portrait photographer and a photography instructor. I am now retired from full time photography, but I continue to make photographs nearly every day in my adopted city of New Orleans.
