Acerca del libro
The Autavia bible (now including Skippers, as well as Seafarer and Mareographes!) covers most of the vintage Autavia references produced by Heuer within this timeframe. It bears almost no comparison to the original edition from 2013 and has 65 more pages and significant amount of new pictures and much more detail. Collectors relying on the original book are now behind the curve with regards to the up to date information.
From the early all lume hand 1st execution in 1962 to the PVD models in the mid 1980s, the book is filled with beautiful hi-res images of some of the best known examples printed on thick premium lustre "photography" paper. It is also littered with current and critical information on important models such as serial ranges, movement details and bezels.
This book contains 90 pages alone on the important screw back case models which have become a focus for the collecting community, being Heuers first named chronographs. The 1970s and 80s are not left out either with most of the automatic and manual wind variants featured such as Sifferts, Exotics, GMTs and even rare special order/test dials.
This updated image wrapped hard back edition is an indispensable guide for the serious Heuer collector, it will save you time, money and will look great on your coffee table too!
Now featuring 240 pages, with Mareographe, Seafarers, and Skippers with many more
double paged spread images and updated serial ranges and new data in December 2021
