Lisa Bourgault grew up with dogs, cats and horses. She originally learned photography from her dad, Jack, and later from the New York Institute of Photography. She works as a writer in the high-tech industry and as a volunteer photographer and content creator at Silicon Valley Animal Control Authority. She and her husband live in Los Gatos, California, with three ding-cats whom they adopted from SVACA.
