To thank Pat Cicalo for his many years in the leadership of The Ground Glass, including seven years as president, we could think of nothing more appropriate than the images in this book. These photographs from our members embody their talent and the mission of our group. They reflect an organization devoted to the art in all its forms. The Ground Glass, under Pat’s leadership, grew its membership and, indeed, thrived despite an international pandemic. When, in early 2020, Covid 19 disrupted life as we knew it, we continued our member critiques and speakers’ programs via video conference and began a series of Road Shows showcasing our photos with large vinyl prints displayed throughout the area. Pat guided the work of many Ground Glass members to achieve this success.

We wish all the best to Pat and Carolina as they start their next chapter in Vermont and want Pat to know he will always be part of The Ground Glass.
