My trip in 2016 started in Bordeaux (in another book alongside the Arcachon books)
I spent a few days there, before heading to Arcachon West of Bordeaux by the sea.
From Arcachon I caught the 30-minute bus ride to the largest sand dunes in Europe. Grand Dune du Pilat. in the Arcachon Bay area, France, 60 km southwest of Bordeaux. The Dune reaches a height of 110m above sea level. I used the area to rest before heading South along the beach to walk South to Biscarrosse. And spend a few days there. Thanks to everyone I met on my trip.
