A photographic overview of modern Finnish architecture featuring the work of Alvar Aalto. The tour includes Aalto's house and studio, Villa Mairea, the National Pensions Institute as well as his masterpiece -- the Paimio Sanatorium. The tour was arranged by Docomomo and developed by Eeva-Liisa Pelkonen -- award winning author and asssociate professor at the Yale School of Architecture.
