Late fall 2009, I traveled to Shanxi with my parents and a loosely connected group of traveller. I sole purpose joining this trip was to keep an eye on my parents. But this "culture center" of China opened my lens and made the trip more than I could hope for. This is my first solo photo journey, and it gave me a new perspective, which I now enjoy.
