Acerca del libro
This forest puts on an autumn color display unrivaled anywhere else in Washington. The small, leathery, multi and irregular lobed oak leaves turn saturated yellow, orange, red, and magenta hues when the first cold clear nights of autumn arrive.
Repeated extended visits in various weather conditions were required to record the woodlands and canyon at their optimum.
These images provide a glimpse of how the oak habit adapts to the varying habitat, from steep walled canyon to rolling parklands of forest mixed with meadow.

Acerca del creador
I've been a nature, landscape, wildlife, and fine art photographer for over three dozen years. I live on the Kitsap Peninsula in Puget Sound west of Seattle, WA, and travel locally and across the country to find subjects and locations that inspire me to make my images. My work can be found in international public and private art collections as well as in various published media and via rights managed photo agencies. I like to share the knowledge of my naturalist, photographic, and digital imaging experience in the field via tours, workshops, in the classroom, and through one-to-one instruction and mentoring. I have maintained an internet presence through my website (http://edbookphoto.com) where I market my fine art prints and stock photographs and have made over three-thousand posts in my photo blog since 2000. Peace, Ed Book
