"Tensioni Elastiche" by ELASTIC Group of Artistic Research (Alexandro Ladaga e Silvia Manteiga) shows the genesis of their last material work, produced during the pandemic world lockdown; a visual and tactil research that emerges out of the tension in the language of video, one that is transmuted into materic painting, what ELASTIC calls Tensioni elastiche. In this painting work there is language, there is philosophy, there is architecture, there is vision, there is reflection, there is performance, and there is video.

Marcel Duchamp's motto, "the public makes the art," is the starting point for their work. They take care to intensify the relationship between the artistic product and the viewer. This exchange between art and viewer is always part of their artistic process and becomes embedded in the work they produce.
