Acerca del libro
George Mortimer Kelson (1835-1920) is considered The High Priest of the Salmon Fly, who popularized the gaudy flies and systemized how to dress them during the Victorian Era. His encyclopedic "The Salmon Fly" (1895) is indeed a dogma. It contains a set of eight inspirational color plates of flies.
This is author's self assignment to dress every plate and frame each as a group. Total 52 flies and 8 frames, which took him several winters. In fact this photo book chronicles author's progress and development as a fly dresser and artist.
As a bonus (one more assignment to himself), the author worked on 6 more flies described in Mr. Kelson's subsequent publication "Tips" (1901).
