These photographs are from Thirty Years of travels across the American and European Victorian Cemeteries. Mythological sculptures from Angels to Sphinxes and tombs made in the traditions of Greek, Etruscan, and Roman art. Photographs began to be added to graves in oval formats to more clearly remember the deceased. The Victorian funerary art covered a short span of time but produced such beautiful artwork.
