Configurations in Motion: Performance Curation and Communities of Colour, 4th Iteration brings together performance curators, artists and scholars from Vancouver BC and from various locations in the United States, to share work, develop resources, and build strategies for supporting performance in, for and by Black, Indigenous and communities of colour in Canada and the United States, aka "Turtle Island."
Note: the Editor for essays written by Natalie Tin Yin Gan, Emily Dundas Oke and Simran Sachar from the 2019 residency in Vancouver is Sadira Rodrigues.
Profits from any book sales ($3 on hard copy; $1 on PDF) will be contributed to The Vancouver Aboriginal Friendship Centre Society (VAFCS), a previous partner on two years of artists showcases in 2019 and 2020.
