Acerca del libro
But as much as Joey loved football, knew about football and played football, he was not very good at football. Being 3rd string receiver, Joey very seldom got to play in important games. But that did not slow him down or dampen his enthusiasm or love for the game. Joey was convinced that if he just kept working and practicing hard, if he would be the best teammate he could possibly be, and if he never gave up hope and his dream, his opportunity would one day come knocking.

Acerca del creador
Born in 1954 and raised by a Southern Baptist preacher and his wife. Married in November 1973 to Peggy who still calls me husband. Known to 4 boys and 1 girl as dad; and 1 boy and 1 girl as Poppa. Known by the world as a CPA and auditor of banks. Known by heaven as a child of the King! My grandest calling in life has been that of fatherhood. And as a father and grandfather, one of my most treasured times was when I could share stories written in these books with young little minds and imaginations. To watch their eyes as suspense came on the scene, to wipe their tears when sadness came, to see their joy and get that hug when good defeated evil. To challenge their faith. But more than anything, to have a front row seat to each of their lives to watch the seeds planted in those stories begin to grow as life began to happen ... middle school, high school, college, career, marriage, family. To watch the truths once leaned through a childhood story come to life, come to rescue and save.
