Rita Matzek was born in Canada. Her passion for books began at an early age after a grade school teacher encouraged her to delve into the world of reading. Since then she has gone on to nurture new interests like creative writing, photography and travel. She continues to reside in her picturesque homeland, but savors any opportunity to photograph adventures abroad.
