Acerca del libro
In black comedic style, or not, there is an underlying seriousness to the interwoven tale. It has a dark and murky undercurrent. And a resonating truth.
I make no apologises for the descriptive scenes of destruction, torture, and death I have described in several parts.
On reflection, it seems that these visions and portrayals have emanated from deep inner feelings, and poured into my writings in a strangely emotive and cathartic way.
If you put aside the horrific, but often humorous, scenes of goriness and absurdity, the drama that is played out here has become almost symbolic of the fragility of human life, and the human condition.
When the uncouth desires and greed of men are unfettered, overflow, and go unchecked, they often end in a flood of madness and destruction.
And usually, when the Devil wishes it.
