Acerca del libro
On June 2, 2020 in response to the death of George Floyd, 60,000 peaceful protesters gathered at Houston’s Discovery Green and marched to City Hall. The march, organized in George Floyd’s birthplace, was spearheaded by Mr. Floyd’s family, along with local musicians Trae the Truth and Bun B.
With no reported fatalities, the march will be remembered as the largest official protest ever held in Houston. Despite fears related to the Covid-19 global pandemic, thousands paved the streets in a beautiful display of solidarity. Inspired by this historic day, Keyeser and Marie is publishing March Houston a photo book memorializing the unique event.

Praise for March Houston -
"March Houston is a masterful snapshot of resilience and the essence of freedom of speech. It should live in every home as a testament to what we have survived and a call to action to become something more."
"As illustrated in the pages of March Houston, today’s Houston stands strong, with its brightest lights shining from an impassioned new generation seeking justice and demanding their voices be heard."
"In March Houston there is the feeling that the images and texts within its pages capture a highly specific localized revolutionary moment that is distinctly a product of Houston’s cultural environment and history."
