This is a simple collection of recipes enjoyed by my family, prepared by my French-born mother who combined her love of food with her love of cooking. She was the devoted wife of a college professor and enjoyed making wonderful, mostly healthy fare. I am sharing her life with anyone who has ever had a mother with whom they wish they could have known better and experience my journey to this end.
