Acerca del libro
According to an article in the September 15, 2018 Philadelphia Inquirer by Helen Ubinas, school teacher Morgan Hurm was on a run when he spotted a gold envelope tucked between the boards of the Thomas Mill Red Covered Bridge in the Wissahickon Valley of Philadelphia's Fairmount Park. Inside was a love letter of sorts to the bridge and he was touched. After corresponding with its author, Kathryn Walker, who had since moved from the area, Hurm wrote his own letter and then put the letters and a notebook in a box at the bridge for others to write down their thoughts of the scenic and tranquil place at the creek, which is beloved by many. Successive notebooks continue to fill up with messages. These photos are from the pages in July and August of 2019. On the box is now a sign. "Leave your own personal letter, special memory, thoughts, comments, etc. To further support the park visit www[dot]fow[dot]org. Friends of the Wissahickon (FOW) is an organization dedicated to preserving the Wissahickon Creek and Valley.
